Terms of use, disclaimer & notices
Last updated: July 15, 2026
By downloading, installing, opening, or using patchmade (the “Software”), visiting this website, or accessing any catalog, link, download, torrent, or related service connected to patchmade (together, the “Service”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and Legal Notices (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Software or Service.
1. Nature of the Service
patchmade is a desktop utility and informational website that may index, display, search, organize, and help you access links to software and audio plugins that appear on third-party websites, file hosts, mirrors, and torrent sources. The Software is provided as a convenience browser/downloader helper and catalog interface only.
We do not sell, license, or grant you any rights to any commercial plugin, sample library, DAW, or other proprietary software. Any titles shown in the catalog are listed for discovery purposes only and may include material that is unauthorized, cracked, pirated, modified, or otherwise distributed without the rights holder’s permission.
2. No hosting of copyrighted files
To the maximum extent applicable: patchmade and this website do not host, store, upload, or serve the binary installers, archives, torrents, cracks, keygens, patches, or other copyrighted product files themselves as a primary file host. Downloads, magnets, and mirrors are obtained from or resolved through independent third-party locations outside our control.
Cached indexes, metadata, titles, images, and “verified link” lists (if any) are catalogs of references only and do not constitute a grant of copyright, trademark, or license rights.
3. Third-party content & links
All plugins, software packages, download mirrors, peeplinks, magnet links, torrent swarms, instructions, screenshots, and related materials originate from third parties. We do not control those sites, hosts, trackers, uploaders, or peers, and we do not guarantee that any link works, is safe, is accurate, or is lawful in your jurisdiction.
Third-party destinations may change, disappear, inject ads, require captchas, or deliver unexpected files (including malicious software). Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them. We are not responsible for third-party terms, privacy practices, billing, downtime, or content.
4. Your responsibility (critical)
You alone are responsible for:
- complying with all copyright, trademark, export, computer-fraud, and other laws that apply to you;
- determining whether you have a legal right to download, copy, install, or use any title;
- purchasing legitimate licenses from rights holders when required;
- any use of cracks, keygens, patches, or unauthorized copies;
- all activity performed with the Software on your devices and networks;
- backing up your system and scanning downloads before running them.
If obtaining or using unauthorized (“cracked”) software is illegal where you live, do not use patchmade for that purpose. Use of the Service for copyright infringement or other unlawful activity is strictly at your own risk. We do not encourage, authorize, or condone infringement.
5. No affiliation or endorsement
patchmade is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any plugin developer, music-software vendor, sample library company, DAW maker, or the third-party catalog/mirror sites that may appear in the app (including but not limited to G-MEH, 4download, PluginTorrent, PluginCrack, or similar sources), except where expressly stated.
All product names, logos, and brands are property of their respective owners and are used only for identification. Use of those names does not imply any relationship or endorsement.
6. Disclaimer of warranties (AS IS)
THE SOFTWARE, WEBSITE, CATALOGS, LINKS, CACHES, AND ALL RELATED MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, OR QUIET ENJOYMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any listed download is the authentic product from the original publisher.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATORS, AUTHORS, CONTRIBUTORS, HOSTS, AND DISTRIBUTORS OF PATCHMADE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR DEVICE/SYSTEM DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SOFTWARE OR SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Without limiting the foregoing, we are not liable for: copyright claims; DMCA notices; account bans; ISP complaints; malware infection; data loss; failed installs; broken plugins; license-server issues; hardware failure; or any legal or financial consequences resulting from downloading or using unauthorized software.
WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) ZERO U.S. DOLLARS, OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE THIRTY (30) DAYS BEFORE THE CLAIM — WHICH FOR A FREE PRODUCT IS TYPICALLY ZERO.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operators and contributors of patchmade from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Software or Service; (b) your download, distribution, or use of any third-party or unauthorized software; (c) your violation of these Terms or any law; or (d) your infringement of any third-party right.
9. Security, malware & system risk
Files obtained through third-party hosts or torrents may contain malware, trojans, miners, stealers, or unwanted software — even when labeled as a plugin installer. Running cracks, keygens, or unknown executables can compromise your machine, accounts, and data.
You accept all security risks. Use antivirus tools, sandboxes, and common sense. We are not responsible for any infection, credential theft, ransomware, or related harm.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- attack, overload, or abuse third-party websites or our infrastructure;
- attempt to circumvent security controls except as expressly provided by the Software;
- redistribute the Software in a way that falsely claims official affiliation with rights holders;
- use the Service in a manner that creates legal exposure for patchmade operators beyond ordinary use.
We may refuse support, revoke access features, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
11. Copyright complaints / DMCA
If you are a rights holder and believe material referenced by patchmade infringes your copyright, contact us with enough detail to identify the listing (product name, URL or catalog ID, proof of ownership, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act). We may remove or suppress catalog entries when we choose to, but we are not obligated to host or continue indexing any particular title.
Because downloads typically occur on third-party hosts, you may also need to contact those hosts or torrent sources directly. We are not the uploader of third-party files.
12. Privacy (summary)
The desktop Software may store local cache, session, and download files on your computer. It may contact third-party catalog and download endpoints as needed to function. This website may use standard hosting logs. We do not ask you to create an account on this site. Do not send passwords or payment card data to us unless we explicitly request them through a trusted channel (we generally will not).
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Software or Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing law & severability
These Terms are intended to be interpreted under applicable law in the place where the Service operators principally reside, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded (including certain liabilities for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, where such exclusions are prohibited).
15. Contact
For legal or takedown notices related to patchmade, use the contact method published with the project (for example, the request / report channels inside the app, if available). Include “Legal / DMCA” in the subject line.
